Abstract

A series of 7-arylbenzo[f]chromeno[4,3-b]chromen-6(7H)-one derivatives were obtained
by one-pot three-component strategy involving 2-naphthol, substituted benzaldehyde and 4-hydroxycoumarin in aqueous media, using potassium phthalimide (PPI) as a catalyst.
